This Rejoice
TV commercial is one of the best commercial I’d ever seen and the duration of
the commercial is 30 seconds length. It is a standard short commercial but the
message is clear and direct to the audience. The video is also using the
entertaining method in humorous way. Not only that, but, the creativity of
emphasizing the storyline of the video is really unique and interesting.
It is a
narrative TV commercial and it started off with a romantic scene of a pair of
couple looking at each other in the eyes, with romantic background music. As
the guy wanted to get closer to the girl, he placed his hands on the girl’s
head. The hair is so smooth to the extent it slips his hands down to the girl’s
breast. The moment his hands slips, there is a swishing sound effect and then
with a silence background sound. It is to emphasize the awkward yet funny
moment of the entire commercial. Sound effect and background music is also one
of the important elements.
The TV
commercial is also emphasizing on the smoothness of the hair, which is the
unique selling point (USP) of the product. It is so smooth, that the hand slips.
At the
end of the narrative, it shows the product visual and also the tagline,
“ New level of smoothness and
manageability, Rejoice”.
Showing the product visually is also one of the guidelines in order to produce
a successful TV commercial.

It's a very interesting commercial. The points stated are indeed true about producing a successful TV commercial. This commercial in particular was able to tell a story that is interesting in such a short amount of time. The message is also conveyed in a straightforward manner. However, I would like to add on that this commercial is great in terms of using humor. Most people would think that it is funny since it is so exaggerated. Usually when people think a commercial is funny it is easier for them to recall the product and brand. In the end though, I think the most important part is that the ad was remembered because it stays in people's heads. Eventually, they might even recall the product and brand advertised in it. This commercial proves to be a funny one that is memorable, hence I agree that it is successful.

DeleteThis TVC is classic and its one of the funniest TVC that doesn't require much effort to impress. I remember this was one of those viral videos that went circulating few years ago in Facebook. That's how I get to know about this video. From this alone, the Ad did a great job because I still remember this video till now. Which mean the humour in the ad did its job as an effective ad as it stays in the audience's head. Within 30 second, it did more than just entertain. It also managed to deliver the message of the product which is the smoothness of the shampoo. Great job on the storyline.
ReplyDeleteThis tv commercial is very hilarious and it makes a very huge impact towards the audiences. I am really amazed by the way they portraits the smoothness of the shampoo in the act. The act itself enough to deliver the message though it was clear and straightforward. The cast expression is very good and it helps more to present it in a realistic way.
